The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a well-known historical structure and tourist attraction. If your building leans or settles excessively, chances are it will be well-known, but it won't be much of a tourist attraction.
The good news today is that settlement problems are entirely avoidable. Geo-Hydro can assist you on a wide range of projects including buildings, industrial facilities, machine foundations, roadways, earth retaining structures, bridges, earth dams, and numerous other structures.
We offer a variety of services including:
- Soil test borings
- Seismic refraction surveys
- Percussion drilling
- Hand auger borings
- Dilatometer
- Cone penetrometer
- Failure investigations
- Groundwater seepage evaluations
- Electrical resistivity
- Rock coring
- Ground penetrating radar
- Pressuremeter Testing
- Test pits
- Settlement analysis
- Slope stability analysis
- Pile foundation analysis
We've also developed many in-house engineering procedures and testing programs to meet the special needs of our clients, including a drilled pier analysis program, and several programs for laterally loaded foundations.
