Award Winning Quality
Geo-Hydro is thrilled to have received a 2011 PSMJ Premier Award for Customer Satisfaction. Geo-Hydro took top honors in the Highest Quality category among the nation's A&E firms, demonstrating our commitment to technical and service excellence.

PSMJ
The Premier Award for Customer Satisfaction is presented by PSMJ Resources, Inc., the premier management consulting firm for the architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) industry. According to PSMJ, "the Premier Award, presented in partnership with DesignFacilitator, honors AEC firms that provide their clients with top quality communications, impressive performance, and cost effective solutions."

Geo-Hydro garnered the Highest Quality award in competition amongst AEC firms from across the United States and Canada. Geo-Hydro's Managing Principal, Milt Schreiber, said "Providing high quality services is just the starting point for Geo-Hydro. What we want to achieve is a level of service, communication, and commitment that exceeds our clients' expectations."

Geo-Hydro Keeps the Thrills Safely Grounded
For over 20 years, Geo-Hydro has been a proud partner with Six Flags Over Georgia, providing the full range of our environmental, geotechnical, and construction inspection services. Thrill rides, and roller coasters in particular, have unique geotechnical challenges due to the vertical and lateral loads generated as the ride soars, dives, and loops. We use state-of-the-art analysis techniques to design foundations that are safe and efficient.

Dare Devil Dive
The latest example of our thrill ride expertise is the Dare Devil Dive. The Dare Devil Dive, with structural design by Ingenieurburero Stengel, sends riders on an aviation adventure, simulating a ride in a fighter jet as it rises over 100 feet before diving past vertical after a dramatic pause at the crest of the summit. In addition to our geotechnical engineering, we also performed Special Inspections for the coaster, including inspection and testing of over 950 bolts that hold the precision designed steel coaster together.
